The signature is the last friction before a deal is real. Printing, signing, scanning and filing it by hand costs time at exactly the moment the customer is most impatient. automotiveDMS moves the signature into the sales flow — via Skribble, valid in Switzerland and the EU.
QES, AES — the short version
Swiss and EU law know several signature standards. The qualified electronic signature (QES) is the legal equivalent of a handwritten signature; the advanced electronic signature (AES) is sufficient for most contracts without a statutory written-form requirement. Skribble provides both, so the standard can follow the document — not the other way round.
How it runs inside automotiveDMS
- The contract is generated from your template with customer, vehicle, VIN and price already filled in.
- The signature request goes to the customer via Skribble; on-site or remote, on a phone, tablet or desktop.
- The status — sent, opened, signed — is visible on the deal, and the signed document is archived on the vehicle file automatically.
- Once signed, the vehicle moves to dispatch with its handover checklist.
What you keep
Every signed document stays on the vehicle record with its history: who generated it, when it was sent, when it was signed. Nothing lives in an inbox or a scanner tray — and every change remains traceable to a person.
