From the VIN to a publishable listing — without typing

Where verified vehicle data comes from, what auto-i-dat and DAT.de contribute, and why the quality of a listing is decided at intake.

A listing is only as good as the record behind it. If the equipment list is incomplete, the price is wrong for the market and the buyer discovers the gap at the handover. The fix is not more careful typing — it is not typing at all.

One identifier is enough

In automotiveDMS a vehicle starts with a VIN or a number plate. From there the system retrieves the vehicle from auto-i-dat, the Swiss source for vehicle identification, and completes specifications and equipment automatically. Market-conform data for the Swiss market, from the first minute.

DAT.de adds the manufacturer perspective: factory equipment recognised from the VIN, as complete, verified equipment lists per vehicle. Options are identified from manufacturer data instead of being remembered — and they flow straight into listings, exposés and contracts.

What changes for the listing

  • Titles, descriptions and structured data are generated from the verified record — the vehicle page carries Vehicle and Offer markup out of the box.
  • Highlights for the listing are picked from the strongest selling points, and the AI-assisted description is written from verified data — under your control.
  • One record publishes to your WordPress website, AutoScout24.ch and mobile.de; price, mileage, status and photos update the moment they change.
The buyer never sees the intake. The buyer sees whether the listing was right.

Why this matters for pricing

Correct equipment lists mean competitive pricing and fewer surprises at handover. A vehicle that is listed completely is easier to price against the market, easier to defend in a negotiation and less likely to come back with a claim.
